the foreigner

The Foreigner

The camera shot that I think was most effective was when the main charecter was lying on the floor hiding in the grass with cuts all over his face, we are shown this throw a close up, this is effective because it allows the audience to be able to see all of the facial expression he was showing (the main facial expressions he was showing was a scared and panicked this is effective because it makes the audience want to know why he is feel and doing what he's doing. The pace of editing is fast , his is effective because it shows us that there is something dangerous going on as it quickly cuts from scene to scene dramatically using a fade out to black at each edit.
In the trailer sound is used effectively, the music that is used is an fast dramatic music this is hinting something dangerous going to happen, this is effective because it makes the audience feel like they want to know why. The main character is dressed in old clothing which makes the audience feel bad for him and which makes them want to know how he has ended up how he has.
By the trailer we can tell the storyline is about someone he cares about being in danger and him wanting to save who ever it is, this is effective because it makes the audience think about what kind of danger they are in. By the trailer we can tell that the genre of the film is going to be crime and drama.
