Perfect Sisters

Perfect Sisters

In the trailer for perfect sisters the camera shot that I find most effective to it is the close up of one of the main character leaning against the car with her headphones on, we can tell by her facial expressions that she isn't happy with moving (we can tell this due to the medium shot of the car and the truck on the back) this is effective because it's letting the audience know that maybe she's not 100%happy with what's happening. The pase of editing in the trailer is fast this makes the audience think that the family wanted to settle in and make the place their home quickly.
In the trailer you are able to hear some quiet music in the background, but you are also able to hear all of the traffic, wind and just in general everyday things. This is effective because it makes us as the audience feel like its a normal day but also make us feel like something big is happening, which makes the audience want to know what that is, this is going to encourage the audience to go and see the film. MES is used in used in a very smart way in the trainer, as the two main characters are wearing totally different style outfits but they couldn't be more a like.
We find out that the storyline of the film is that the kids have had enough of their mum and wants to do something about it, towards the end of the trailer we find out that they want to kill their mother, we find out about this because one of their friends are typing it on a computer and it shows us what it is she's typing. This is effective because it makes the audience think are they going to go through with it or are they going to find another way to help their mum.
In the trailer we are shown what the storyline of the film is going to be about by seeing someone typing and it coming up in front of the computer as she types it, in a white sharp font. At the beginning of the film we think that its going to be a happy family film but then something happens to change our minds from a family film to a crime/drama. This is effective because it makes the audience want to know what the film will actually end being.
