The camera shot that I find most effective is the one where the little girl and her uncle are on a boat we are shown this through a medium shot, this is effective because it shows the two main characters, thus allows us to know who the focus of the film is going to be about. It also allows us to see them going on one of what could be many adventures together. The pace of editing is actually quite slow this is effective because it allows the audience know that the film could be a little sad and dramatic. 

In the trailer there is a quiet guitar playing in the background just loud enough so that you can hear it with people talking over the top of it. In the trailer the main characters are wearing subtle clothing, the career is wearing what looks like old clothing that he has had for a while and the young girl is wearing all new things this is effective because it shows the audience that the career is willing to have nothing but for the little girl to have all new things, this makes the audience feel more like he is an everyday person that loves their kids. 

We found out that the storyline of the film is a girl that is so incredibly smart, she has lost her Mum and wants to continue living with her uncle, and is at risk of being taken away to live somewhere else, this is effective because it makes the audience want to go and see the movie to see what happened to the Mum and happens to the girl and who she ends up living with. 

We think at the film is going to be a family film at the beginning as we are shown a little family happy and we are thought that they might just go into an adventure, but it turns out that the film is a drama, this makes the audience want to go and watch the film to seee what dramas might occur and why it's a genre of its kind.
