Film title ideas

We know what the title of the film was going to be so all we needed to do is pick how we was going to present it. We didn’t know what background we wanted it to be on. We thought black, but as the drips were black we couldn’t use a black background as you wouldn’t of been able to see it and it would of talen the effect away. We though maybe a red one, the thighf of blood came into mind but when we thought about it like that we thought ohh wait make the most important letter in the title red to make it stand out. So we was left with very little options.

These are just some of the many different style of shading that we are considering on using. I feel that these are the most effective ones out of all the ones that we took due to the fact that these are the most mysterious looking ones out of them all.

Questionnaire

For the questionnaire we handed it out to around 15-20 people and had them fill out what they thought would be the best ideas for the trailer, as we wanted the audience to have a say in what the trailer was going to be about as a whole, as they are going to be the once that are going to be watching it.

for the title the one that was put down most was Smile and when we asked why they said that it was an unusual and unique name for a horror film as when you think of the word smile you think of something happy not something scary.

for the second question er got a mixed opinion there was two that the put down and it was a park and school, when we asked why we got a straight forward answer, a park is where you see kids smiling. A school is just a typical but unusual place to film a horror film. but for this one we decided to go for the park.

for the third question the most picked answer was just about the characters, when we asked why they responded with, so as a young audience we want to watch films that we can relate to the most and fining out if we do in the trailer will make us want to go and watch the film.

as for the fourth question the trailer is mainly for the 16-18 range so we handed it out to them as thats who we want it to appeal to the most.

for the fifth one we got a fifty fifty as we anted to know both genders opinions and to find out how we can mix what they both like together into one trailer.

when it came to music it was a mixed opinion as they put down another option which was both, this was interesting so i was intrigued to ask why, their response was as simple as a mixture of music will help set the scene a little better.

for the last of the questions the most popular ones was action/adventure and horror/thriller.
